Register for self assessment
You are required to register with HMRC for self assessment if you, among other things:
- Are self employed
- Are a director or trustee
- Have income exceeding a certain limit
- Receive child benefit and have income exceeding a certain limit
- Have savings, investment or property income exceeding certain limits

Self assessment tax return
I need to file a self assessment tax return:
We prepare your self assessment annually and, after approval by you, submit this on your behalf to HMRC.
We advise on allowable deductions with a view to optimising your personal tax.
Sole trader accounts
I need to prepare sole trader accounts:
You are required to prepare financial statements showing the results of your business trading in sufficient detail to enable the preparation of a tax return.
We prepare these financial statements for you from your records and from explanations provided by you.
Pay my self assessment tax
We advise you (in good time) of the amount, the due date and how to pay to HMRC your self assessment taxation, class 2 and 4 national insurance and payments on account where applicable.
